Key Responsibilities:
In this role your responsibilities will include:
- Takes responsibility for the definition, documentation and safe execution of small to medium scale Projects, actively participating in phases of the Project funnel.
- Ensures that realistic Project, quality and risk plans are prepared and maintained.
- Tracks all activities against the plan, providing regular and accurate reports to stakeholders, as appropriate and manages stakeholder expectations.
- Monitors and controls team performance against plans. Maintains effective financial and Project progress forecasting, and reports as appropriate.
- Effectively estimates costs, timescales and resource requirements for the successful delivery of the Project(s) to agreed terms of reference.
Monitors costs, timescales and technical build resources used, and takes action where these deviate from agreed tolerances. Ensures that delivered systems are implemented within these criteria.
- Initiates and influences relationships with and between key stakeholders, in management and implementation of services, acting as a primary point of contact for senior stakeholders and influencers.
- Manages the change control procedure and ensures that Project deliverables are completed within planned cost, timescale and resource budgets, and are signed off. Gains agreement for revisions/scope changes to the Project(s) from Project sponsors.
- Ensures that the Project is managed through to Transition to Service.
- Provides effective leadership to the Project team ensuring that team members are motivated and developing their skills and experience. Takes appropriate action where performance deviates from agreed tolerances.
- Actively represents the Project team, ensuring that effective relationships are built and maintained with the business.
- Ensures that own Projects are formally closed and, where appropriate, subsequently reviewed, and that lessons learned are captured and actioned. Produces appropriate documentation to support these processes.
- Ensures compliance with Unilever standards, and GPMO Project standards.

Essential Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
- Successful track record of leading and delivering infrastructure technology based projects
- Successful track record of leading a project team in a multi-cultural and multi-national environment.
- Successful track record of building relationships across the Project and Business environment in which the Programme / Project is delivering.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Project Management Processes.
- Demonstrated knowledge of process design techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to follow quality assurance processes.
- Demonstrated ability to use Project Management toolset (CA Clarity, and MS Office Suite preferred)
