Our Client is a complete financial services firm, evolved over the years from a boutique investment bank, has built a strong presence across verticals in the equity capital markets, financing, asset management and now retail business.

Job Title: Asst. Manager/Manager - Operations

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 4-8 years

Qualification: Graduate / Post graduate in Commerce/ MBA/CA/ICWA preferred

Nature of experience: The role sits in the Credit and Fixed Income Group (CFI) division. The main role includes understanding the Structured Finance, Real Estate Finance, Debenture market and the Credit substitute products involving complex calculations, report generating, accounting and reconciliation. Also, ensuring smooth co-ordination and understanding with the teams involved in the process and constantly develop effective and efficient ways of improving the process. Knowledge of tally, oracle or accounting package preferred.

Job Responsibilities / Accountabilities - 

Managerial Responsibilities - 

- In depth knowledge of Loan and Debenture product with IRR computation and Monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly analysis of inventory in hand, with sell

- Down process, weighted average cost and balance sheet reporting.

- Develop excellent proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software like Tally, Oracle etc.

- Reporting and accounting of transactions ensuring smooth bank reconciliation.

Functional Responsibilities:

- Take up Ad hoc tasks assigned by the reporting authority such as working on new projects, preparation of new relevant reports, Liaising and coordinating with the involved teams whenever necessary.

- Formulating process improvement such as developing/improving and

- Streamlining of processes, introducing innovative and efficient ways to smoothen the process.

- Timely and accurate submission of reports and other requirements to the related Teams in the business.

Technical Competencies:

- MS excel

- Knowledge of NBFC regulation and lending business

- Good oral and written skills.

- Self-starter, innovative, with good communication skills
