Asst. Manager - Financial Accounting

Urgently Looking for an "Assistant Manager – Financial Accounting" for a reputed MNC FMCG Client, for Mumbai Location.

- CA/ ICWAI with 2 years min experience into FMCG / Pharma Companies.

- Knowledge of USGAAP, SAP is mandatory.

BRIEF PROFILE DESCRIPTION:

PURPOSE:

- This position is responsible for formulating accurate Monthly financial results in SAP, Preparation of financials as per USGAAP and also IGAAP with proper schedules to ensure the accurate financial reporting.

DIMENSIONS:

- No direct subordinates report in to this position.

REPORTING:

The position is based in the Corporate Office in Mumbai and reports to the Finance Manager.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Actual Financial Accounting as per US GAAP: Preparation of Monthly Income Statement as per the USGAAP, Ensuring proper provision entries in the SAP, Analysing the same with Forecast reporting the variances.

- Actual Financial Accounting as per the IGAAP : Preparation of annual accounts as per the IGAAP with complete schedules and getting the accounts audited from the external auditors.

- Monthly Closing and Reporting: Passing provision entries in SAP and analysing the balances with proper schedules. Analysing actual financials with forecast and reporting variances such as sales volume, price, mix, MUV, expenses, etc.

- WHQ Reporting: Working on Hyperion system for uploading the financials, Working of blackline software for reconciling the accounts for Sox compliance,Preparation of WHQ Schedule/Analytics file etc.

- SOX Testing :- Carrying out SOX control tests of Sec 16, 24 etc and preparation of SOX Control tests results for Head Office.

- GL Scrutiny- Monthly review of General Ledger and reconciliation. Preparation of Quarterly Schedules of General Ledger Accounts and Analysis.
