AM - Finance & Control Group - Bank

A Leading Foreign Bank is looking for candidates with 2-5 years of experience in Finance and control group.

Main Accountabilities:

- Responsible for accurate and timely submission of all Finance related regulatory (RBI) returns

- Primary Finance contact point for (i) RBI inspections (ii) Statutory audit of the bank branch

- To be responsible for preparing schedules for Statutory Audit/Group Audits pertaining to relevant areas of costs and sundry assets/liabilities, receivables/payables etc.

- GL control – facilitate and review all balance sheet items and maintaining control over sundry / suspense accounts

- Product control – support onshore product control related activities to the extent applicable including production of daily P & L, new product approvals etc.

- Provide Alco support via providing the information agreed for inclusion in the monthly standard pack and any other adhoc request.

- Ensure that transactions and balances are correctly reflected in the accounting records, statutory financial statements and regulatory returns.

- Provide Management and internal departments with timely and accurate information at the desired frequency

- To design and provide up-to date cost MIS at regular intervals to Management including providing the team with ledger/system extracts as and when required.

- To provide daily bank balances and funds required to Treasury Operations for cash flow projections.

- To have a back-up role for ensure Daily P&L reports are delivered on time and are reconciled with Financial accounts

- Preparation and submission of financial statements / tax returns viz. Service Tax returns, TDS returns, within stipulated deadlines

- To maintain the files and records in a manner facilitating easy retrieval of information.

- To provide support to Functional Head on ad hoc projects, audits etc

- Responsible for all matters relating to Accounting, Financial Reporting and Financial Control

- Responsible for preparation of all reports – internal and external.
