ASSISTANT MANAGER – Finance

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The role involves the following responsibilities in relation to assigned business group :

Key responsibilities include:

- Preparation and review responsibilities of following work performed by the team involving accounting functions for one or more clients:

- Inter-company cash settlements including reviews of trial balances, ledger transactions, bank / funds positions, analyzing impact of settlements on regional / entities' funding position and Transfer pricing cost to the Group

- Group wide review and reporting of inter-co positions

- Month end accounting for Inter-co settlements and FX positions

- Provide support in monitoring the APRA positions

- Group wide accounting for Transfer pricing

- Credit Risk assessment including analysis of TP ratings and margins

- Preparation of TP schedules for Group's Tax return

- Reporting and analysis for P&L for audit supports

- Providing information for regulatory and statutory requirements

- Liaising with auditors (internal & external) and responding to their queries

- Leading and managing team, showing career path and doing effective appraisals

- Managing client relationship and handle first level escalations

- Proactively seeking client feedback to further improve service level standards

- Designing and generating MIS regularly highlighting key metrics for the team and work

- Continuously innovating with a focus to improve the process – enhance efficiencies and add value

- Ensuring compliance with finance control standards for the reporting entity.

- Ensuring quality consciousness in all aspects of the team

- To apply cost conscious approach towards work responsibilities handled

- Ensure that Macquarie's goals and values are demonstrated in all work the performed

QUALIFICATIONS & BACKGROUND/WORK EXPERIENCE

- Postgraduate/ professional accounting qualification, preferably CA or CPA

- Minimum 4-6 years of post CA qualification experience.

- Willingness to travel overseas

- Willingness to work in different time zones to support clients
