Job Description :
- Will be responsible for the company’s revenue & expense accounting, internal management reporting, business analysis, external statutory reporting & local & legal compliance.
- Prepares and records asset, liability and analyzing account information.
- Manage month end close, including month end G/L audit
- To raise monthly rent/License fee, CAM, utilities, SOH etc invoices.
- To collect payments on time and needful documentation of the defaulters.
- Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
- Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
- Summarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
- Completes external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts; providing information to/for auditors.
- Secures financial information by completing database backups.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Review all reimbursement requests, invoices, etc. for accuracy, compliance with internal controls, and appropriate account allocation; maintain control of invoices. Assign account codes.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Knowledge of accepted Accounting Principles, procedures and standards.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
- A team-player, willing to accept changing responsibilities and assist wherever needed.
- Willingness and ability to work beyond regularly scheduled hours as needed.
- Balance Sheet & Bank reconciliations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Month End Close & associated journal entries
Key Areas
- To prepare & analyze company’s profit and loss accounts and to ensure the balance sheets is under control. The position works closely with the team, retailers, vendors in ensuring the financial results (monthly, quarterly & annually) are a true reflection of the performance of the business
- Co-ordinate with team and driving ownership in team by being a role model
- Ensure accounting/finance and cost control activities are successfully implemented and operated to meet overall objectives and required regulatory standards
- Ensure accounting/financial standards are maintained. Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies/procedures, etc. Provide audit support to outside auditors during the year end and interim financial audits.
Experience - 5+ years progressive work experience in Accounting
- Overall knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of taxes and compliance
Should have experience from real Estate Industry
Qualification - Bachelors in Accounting required, Finance Degree.
