AM/DM/Mgr/Sr Mgr - GL Accounting

Role: AM/DM/Mgr/Sr Mgr

Details of Responsibilities:

This position requires the candidate to have a very good understanding of accounting and standard management reporting . He/She should be in a position to maintain general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and reports. The incumbent will be responsible for responding to requests, solve problems by following established procedures, work with others as part of the team.

Required:

- Bachelors in Commerce /Masters in Commerce /MBA / CWA Inter/ CA Inter/CA

- Experience in a finance/accounting function

- Strong in accounting with proven experience of closing and adjustments

- Strong in financial analysis - clear understanding of financial drivers for variances, ability to articulate clearly the business drivers contributing to variances when performing variance analytics

- Experience working in insurance accounting process of a life/health/P&C business involved in accounting a plus

- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Access; Hyperion Essbase & PeopleSoft GL desired

- Strong communication skills with the ability to problem-solve

- Health care industry experience a plus
