We have an opening with a reputed Consulting firm (managed by EX BIG 4 Srs ) having 4 branches in India with a manpower strength of 70 people. Firm in expansion mode .Servicing to reputed MNC clients for there Domestic & International operation. Specialised in Audit & Taxation work.

Level : Can go upto Dy Manager level ( depending on the relevant exp)

Department : Indirect Taxation

Qualification : CA/LLB only

Location preference : From Delhi/NCR or near by cities only

Industry : Only from reputed CA firms/KPO's /Big 4

Role : Its an Advisory role .

Area of work : Central Excise, Service Tax, Value Added Tax, Customs & Foreign Trade Policy

Profile : Settling reply to Show Cause Notices

- Settling reply to Audit Objections

- Settling Appeals & Stay Petitions, Writ Petitions, etc.

- Causing appearance before various judicial authorities

- Various compliance work like preparation and filing of Service Tax Returns, preparation and filing of VAT Returns for various states, Conducting VAT Audit

- Settling opinions involving various issues

- Briefing Sr. Counsel for Hearings, Opinion etc

- Providing in-court assistance to Sr. Counsel at the time of hearing

- Conducting Indirect Tax Reviews/Health Checks

- Tax pre-vetting of important commercial agreements, contracts or transactions for exploring avenues for tax optimization

- Strategizing debatable claims to be lodged and providing adequate protection through proper disclosures before statutory authorities
