Urgent opening with one of the Real Estate company for the position of Assistant Manager-Contract
Duties & Responsibilities
- To assist Sr. Manager Contracts with tender document preparation, floating of tender, bid negotiation and preparation of comparative statement, generating PO with SAP etc.
- Monitor the Contract program & identify deviation from critical path, notification of known delays / disruptions / extra work by making regular contemporary records through project team as delays stoppages arise.
- Preparation of Project-wise Budget and Cash flow statement in Consultation with Sr. Manager Contracts
- Review of Vendor/Contractor’s Claims & regular tracking / follow up of claims. Follow up with Project team on pending contractual matters for closing of Contract e.g. Claims, return of retention & BGs Post Contract administration of contracts including processing of interim applications for payment, preparation / evaluation of claims, variations and settlement of final account.
- Guide the project team on contractual conditions and commercial aspects of the projects.
- Formulating and Sustaining Claims with necessary records and backups.
- Regular meetings / negotiations with clients regarding claims, variations and other important contract conditions.
- Should have adequate knowledge of SAP modules.
- To identify risks and prepare the risk mitigation plan of pre and post contracts
- Well conversant with FIDIC Condition of Contract.
- To form/ interpret the contracts, sub contracts conditions etc.
