This role is intended to provide an appropriate level of business finance support to the Continental Europe business including monthly reporting and adhoc analysis support.
In particular:
- P&L analysis of the above defined business areas, sales and asset reporting and explanation of variance from target in all of the above.
- Final forecast and projections for the Group Daily & Flash report.
- Monthly accruals and management accounts adjustments.
- Preparation of budgets for costs and headcount based on discussions with business heads.
- Provide various ad hoc analyses to the business under challenging time frames.
- Work on key initiatives based on business requirements. Identify, design and implement process improvement initiatives for increased efficiency.
- Work closely with the global business finance team in UK, Europe, Asia and India.
- Relationship building and stakeholder management across geographies.
Experience and Qualifications :
- A qualified/ semi-qualified accountant with 2-4 years or MBA with 4+ years of experience relevant experience in an analytical role.
- Advanced knowledge and interest in financial analytical techniques.
- Strong verbal and written business English communication skills, experience in presenting to senior management.
Essential Skills Required :
- Basic knowledge of the overall Microsoft Office software package and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access and Power point.
- Knowledge of Hyperion / JD Edwards / Oracle would be an added advantage.
- Attention to detail and accurate data processing.
- The ability to use financial and non-financial data sources to construct logical conclusions and create meaningful report content
