KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The role involves the following responsibilities in relation to assigned business group with Macquarie:
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing team, showing career path and doing effective appraisals
- Ensure & supervise adequate training to new joiner and help them to quickly come onboard
- Managing client relationship and handle first level escalations
- Proactively seeking client feedback to further improve service level standards
- Perform dip checks of process controls to ensure quality & timeliness as per SLA
- Ad-hoc query management from service area, and other areas of Macquarie relating to service area costs
- Providing information for regulatory and statutory requirements
- Liaising with auditors (internal & external) and responding to their queries
- Prompt reporting or control failures and implementing adequate preventive measures to avoid repetition of similar failures
- Designing and generating MIS regularly highlighting key metrics for the team and work
- Continuously innovating with a focus to improve the process – enhance efficiencies and add value
- Actively participate in GFS / P2P wide initiatives and projects
- Ensuring compliance with finance control standards for AP Team
- Ensuring quality consciousness in all aspects of the team. Implement best practices across streams
- To apply cost conscious approach towards work responsibilities handled
- Ensure that Macquarie's goals and values are demonstrated in all work performed.

- Experience with PeopleSoft software

QUALIFICATIONS & BACKGROUND/WORK EXPERIENCE
- Overall more than 6 years of accounts payable experience in a shared services environment including 2 years of people management
- Commerce graduate
- Knowledge of People Soft will be preferred
- Willingness to travel overseas
- Willingness to work in different time zones to support clients
