Roles & Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Analysis:

- Revenue Strategy Development: Formulate and implement revenue management strategies to optimize hotel revenue, including pricing, inventory control, and market segmentation.

- Forecasting: Predict future room demand and revenue trends using historical data, market analysis, and economic conditions.

- Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitors' pricing, promotional activities, and market share to adjust strategies accordingly.

Operational Management:

- Rate Management: Set and adjust room rates based on demand, market conditions, and occupancy levels.

- Inventory Control: Manage room inventory to maximize occupancy and average daily rate (ADR), ensuring the right room is sold to the right customer at the right time.

- Distribution Channel Management: Oversee the distribution strategy across various channels (e.g., direct bookings, OTAs, GDS) to ensure optimal revenue.

Performance Monitoring:

- Performance Analysis: Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room), ADR, and occupancy rates to assess the effectiveness of revenue strategies.

- Reporting: Generate regular revenue reports and present findings to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.

Collaboration and Leadership:

- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the revenue management team, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to execute revenue strategies effectively.

- Interdepartmental Coordination: Work closely with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure a cohesive approach to revenue management and customer satisfaction.

Customer Relationship Management:

- Guest Experience Optimization: Balance revenue management strategies with guest satisfaction, ensuring pricing strategies do not negatively impact the guest experience.

Technology and Systems:

- System Utilization: Utilize revenue management systems (RMS), property management systems (PMS), and other technology tools to gather data, analyze trends, and implement pricing strategies.

- Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in revenue management technology to continuously improve revenue strategies.

Other Skills & qualifications:

- Previous experience as a revenue manager

- A clear understanding of hotel industry is necessary as well as analytical capabilities, experience in study cases, market research and studies with a mathematical background

- Reliability, goal-oriented, organizational skills, being a self-starter and autonomous

- Enjoy working in a small team and independently

- Previous experience with distribution systems, central reservation systems, content systems

- Knowledge of hospitality operations is a plus

- Ability to work independently

- Ability to meet deadlines

- Strong analytical and organizational skills

- Strong communication and presentation skills

- Creative, solution-oriented and dynamic personality
