Job Title: Senior Manager - Business Development & Strategy
Job Location: Panchkula / Ambala
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer - International Business
Position Summary:
A Senior Manager - Business Development & Strategy plays a crucial role in supporting the CEO in developing strategies and driving sales. This is a highly demanding role that requires excellent organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Review Planning: Efficiently manage and ensure timely and productive Business reviews.
2. Communication: Act as a liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders, handling correspondence across channels.
3. Review Follow ups & Closures: Organize and prepare for meetings, including drafting agendas and following up on action items and ensure timely closures.
4. Project Management: Assist with special projects, research, and data analysis to support the CEO's strategic initiatives.
5. Document Preparation: Prepare and edit reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
6. Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
7. Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): Support the CEO in M&A activities, including due diligence, coordinating with legal and financial advisors, and preparing related documentation.
8. New Business Development: Assist in identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, conducting market research, and supporting strategic partnerships.
Qualifications:
1. Education: A bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or a related field is often preferred from a reputed B-School.
2. Experience:
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in B&D or Strategist or in a similar role.
- Preferred candidates will be one who has an experience of running a startup or experience supporting senior executives with high-level projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and business development efforts.
3. Skills:
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong understanding of M&A processes, business valuation, due diligence, and the legal and financial aspects of transactions.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, particularly in identifying market opportunities or conducting competitor analysis.
- Strong Financial Planning and Analytical skill with mastery in MS Excel.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Deep Diving into the things
