About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP FICO Functional Consultant to join our team in Chennai. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial and accounting processes and extensive experience in SAP FICO.

Role Description:

As an SAP FICO Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for the following:

Business Process Analysis:

- Analyze and understand client's financial and controlling processes.

- Identify gaps and areas for improvement within existing FICO processes.

- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications.

SAP FICO Configuration and Implementation:

- Configure and customize SAP FICO modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, etc.) to meet client-specific requirements. -

- Implement and support various FICO functionalities, including financial reporting, budgeting, and cost management.

- Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and accuracy of SAP FICO configurations.

- Participate in full lifecycle SAP FICO implementation projects.

Master Data Management:

- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of FICO master data, including chart of accounts, cost elements, and profit centers.

Integration:

- Ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with other relevant modules, such as SD, MM, and PP.

- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.

Consulting and Support:

- Provide expert consulting services to clients on SAP FICO best practices.

- Offer ongoing support and training to end-users.

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Problem Solving:

- Analyze and resolve complex technical and functional issues related to SAP FICO.

- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.

Collaboration:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers.

- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Financial Reporting:

- Develop and maintain financial reports to meet internal and external reporting requirements.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

- Experience: 6-8 years of experience as an SAP FICO Functional Consultant.

- Module Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO modules and functionalities.

- Business Process Understanding: Strong understanding of financial and accounting processes.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP FICO configuration, customization, and testing.

- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -

- Certifications: Relevant SAP FICO certifications are highly desirable.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
