Business Analyst

- Bachelor's (Engineering) degree and/or MBAs from top universities preferred.

- 4+ years as a business systems analyst with Data Warehousing & BI experience.

- Understanding of relational databases and experience with system analysis is highly desirable

- Candidates with mortgage and/or financial services experience would be preferred.

- Data warehousing, business intelligence and reporting experience is a must for this role.

- Must have strong oral, written communications skills and ability to communicate effectively with both business users and technical staff.

- Must be flexible and willing to undertake a wide variety of challenging tasks.

- Familiar with software development process such as agile development methodology and tasks, roles involved in the process.

- Ability to analyze and document complex business processes and deliver functional requirements like data flows, data mappings etc.

- Nice to have: DWBI architecture, ETL, data modeling, data analysis, analytics & statistics knowledge

Responsibilities

- Conduct business & systems analysis for data warehousing & business intelligence projects

- Collaborate with the business teams including directors, BU heads and exec managements for requirements gathering.

- Document BRDs, wireframes, vision documents, use cases and supplemental specifications as required.

- Do system analysis including SQL writing and source system data mapping.

- Create and maintain visual models, POCs, activity diagrams, data flows and sequence diagrams where necessary.

- Conduct/assist the business during the complete UAT cycle.

- Creating and maintaining the strategic partnership between Business needs and Technology delivery

- Must be a self-starter and should work with minimal direction
