Responsibilities:

- Member of the Financial Reporting and India Statutory Reporting team.

- Accurate financial transaction initiation and accounting for Altisource Corporate and support segments as per India GAAP and US GAAP.

- Preparation of monthly closing entries and accruals for the Corporate segment and Finalization of accounts, preparation and review of Statutory Financial Statements.

- Establish proper records, approvals, documentation and audit trails for all transactions.

- Variance analysis, trend and commentaries on the Business results.

- Preparation of audit schedules and interfacing with the auditors during the financial audit process.

- Facilitate the internal audit/SOX cycles by providing information and support.

- Reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement accounts.

- Support internal customers by providing accurate information in a timely manner.

- Ensure timely and accurate accounting and compilation of accounts, records and statements.

- Contribute effectively to the monthly close process by completing tasks within deadlines.

- Provide timely information, reports, statements and analysis to management and internal and external auditors.

- Ensure completion of balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations.

- Establish proper records, approvals, documentation and audit trails for all transactions.

Required Qualification & Skills:

- Qualified CA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) with 2-4 years post qualification experience

- Hands on experience in financial accounting & reporting with a good knowledge of US GAAP

- Big 4 audit experience preferred

- Expertise in MS Office and familiarity with Accounting packages/ ERP

- Good interpersonal and communication skills

- Solid conceptual, problem solving and analytical skills; readily willing to perform detailed analysis as needed

- Should possess high energy level, be a self starter, a good team player, self motivated and driven to meet the ever-changing demands of a dynamic organization.
