Altisource - Business Analyst - IT

Job Description:

General Skills

1.Should have worked in a Business Analyst role for 4+ years in IT industry.

2.Degree in finance is preferred but not mandatory.

3.Should have hands on experience in working on Agile SDLC methodology with key participation in requirement gathering, documentation, scrum meetings, grooming sessions and UAT phases and over all coordination between different teams.

4.Six Sigma / PMP / BA Certifications will be an added advantage.

Techno-Functional Skills

1.Should have functional understanding of enterprise applications like Order Management Systems, Accounting Systems, and Payment Systems etc.

2.Experience in projects involving integration between different systems will be an advantage.

3.Experience on financial modules (AP and AR) will be an advantage.

4.Should be familiar with different modes of data exchanges between IT applications in and across organizations.

5.Should be very good in documentation and have hands on experience in:

a.writing effective user stories,

b.preparing Business Requirement Documents, Implementation Guides, User Guides etc

c.preparing Test Cases

6.Basic SQL skills for writing /understanding DB queries for reporting/testing are preferred but not mandatory.

7.Should be able to test the requirements and be familiar with different testing approaches.

8.Should be able to play SME role for the client.

Personal Skills

1.Should have excellent communication skills and be able to present ideas with clarity of thought.

2.Should be a self starter and proactive and own up tasks/issues and tracking through closure.

3.Should be an effective team player and should be able to coordinate with different stake holders in a project.

4.Should have self driven passion for promoting the product internally and externally.

5.Should be able to interact with CXX level stakeholders and initiate effective discussions for gathering business
requirement. Should have good relationship skills and be able to maintain professional relationship at every level.

6.Should be able to make effective presentations / take sessions with Product, Dev and QA teams for discussing requirements.

7.Should be able to give effective demos about the product to external / internal clients.

8.Should be able to deliver under stressful working conditions.
