Job Description :


- The Alternate Channel Manager will develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth and expand distribution networks across non-traditional channels such as e-commerce, modern trade, and rural markets.


- The role will require building and maintaining relationships with key partners, managing channel operations, and analyzing market trends to optimize business performance.

Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at alternate trade retailers

2. Business Development: Develop and execute business plans to drive sales growth, increase market share, and expand distribution networks across modern trade channels.



3. Category Management: Collaborate with retailers to develop category strategies, manage inventory, and optimize shelf space to maximize sales and profitability.



4. Negotiation and Conflict Resolution: Negotiate trade terms, resolve conflicts, and manage disputes with retailers to ensure smooth business operations.



5. Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze sales data, market trends, and consumer insights to inform business decisions and drive growth.


Secondary Responsibilities:

1. Joint Business Planning: Develop and implement joint business plans with retailers to achieve mutually beneficial goals.

2. In-Store Promotions: Plan and execute in-store promotions, displays, and events to drive sales and increase brand visibility.



3. Trade Marketing: Manage trade marketing budgets, develop trade marketing strategies, and execute trade promotions to drive sales and increase brand awareness.



4. Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.



5. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and logistics, to ensure alignment and effective execution of business plans.


Profile

- 8-12 years in FMCG Modern Trade sales

- MBA in sales and marketing is a necessity



- Experience in FMCG foods will be given first priority



- Experience in managing alternate channels will be a bonus



- Current/preferred location to be Gurgaon
