The Program :

As part of our first initiative, we are launching four-month and six-month Valuation Fellowship Program. It is an accelerated valuation learning program aimed at young finance professionals, to equip them to become specialists in business valuations.

Major activities :

The selected candidate are expected to work in a start-up environment and work on engagements related to IPO Valuations, Privately held company valuations for stock compensations, valuation related to financial and tax reporting purposes, option pricing models, monte carlo simulations, complex derivatives and hedge fund services etc.

- Support team in providing financial consulting services relating to business valuation- valuation for financial reporting and tax compliance purposes.

- Creating/assisting in developing financial models, analyzing financial statements, conducting industry research and writing reports.

- Delivering high-quality valuation work products and assisting other team members when required.

- Interacting with clients and communicating with founding members.

Details :

- Duration : 4 months and 6 months program

- Dates : Rolling joining dates starting from 1st Oct 15, 1st Nov 15 and 1st Dec 15.

- Compensation : Rs. 35,000 per month

- Location : Bangalore/New Delhi

The key skills required are :

- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel and MS Word.

- Relevant experience in business valuation and derivative valuation; knowledge of financial accounting and corporate finance concepts.

- Sound knowledge of valuation methodologies, such as income and market approaches.

- Familiarity with using the Internet for data research; hands-on experience with databases, such as Factiva, Capital IQ, and Bloomberg will be a plus.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

- Ability to effectively communicate with associates and managers in the US and UK.

Qualifications :

- MBA Finance

- CFA Level 1/2 appeared or cleared

- Work Experience : 1-3 years

- Relevant experience in business valuation
