Job Purpose : This position will support strategic pricing activities across India and promote profitable growth across surgical & vision care product portfolio by driving improvements in pricing related processes, supporting systems and organizational capabilities.
Major Accountability :
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Business Planning and Analysis, Legal Teams to develop Value Based Pricing strategies that capture customer willingness-to-pay and drives profitable growth for the Business.
- Lead the creation of pricing strategies and price setting for product launches and new offerings in cooperation with marketing and country teams.
- Work as per the regional and global guidelines to build and implement IT systems required for pricing governance and monitoring.
- Establish and maintain competitive pricing intelligence information in coordination with Sales and Marketing teams.
- Perform as appropriate market research to identify pricing opportunities, test pricing concepts for market acceptance and gain customer insights into potential areas for value creation through pricing.
- Develop influencing relationships with stake holders across the business to ensure optimal pricing strategies are adopted
- Monitor adherence to agreed pricing strategies for defined product lines.
- Deliver training within the India business unit on implementation of Pricing and Tender capabilities with the sales & marketing teams.
- Represent Business unit on all corporate-wide pricing initiatives.
- Contribute with customer and competitive insights in business strategy development.
