This role is key to the success of any organization and at AktivOrtho is especially so as we transition from a start-up to a growing organization. Your performance will be appraised based on the effective and efficient execution of the following responsibilities.
- Develops organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.
- Implements human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, statutory compliance, and labour relations.
- Manages human resources operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing staff job contributions; maintaining compensation; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change.
- Develops human resources financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
- Supports management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions; analyzing information and applications.
- Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.
- Complies with national, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Key deliverables would include:
- A monthly talent acquisition plan, budget, for key areas such as Physio, CSE and other recruitment
- Manpower forecast/requirements definition for upcoming Centre- s
- Defined KRA's and job descriptions for all staff
- Development of a HR Policy Handbook
- Review of annual performance appraisal system
- Organization structure proposal for expansion with career, job title and responsibilities as appropriate
- Induction procedure development and implementation of new staff
- Review of service rules for staff and other such policies
- Formation of a sexual harassment committee and a defined mission for same
- Training & development plan for staff
- Developing a staff retention strategy and plan
- SOP development for the HR function
- Staff personnel files replete with all as required legally including background and police clearance certificates
- Optimizing employee attendance with regular reviewing of the biometric attendance register
- Ensuring AktivOrtho is compliant with all statutory and other HR relevant legal/government requirements
- Ensure staff adherence to office policies, decorum and procedures at all times; disciplining where required and appropriate
- Co-ordination in PF & ESI matters
- Organizingstaff social events
- Refine existing exit interview management process
