POSITION OVERVIEW
The manager maintains and expands relationships with strategically important large academic institutions. The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The role requires to meet with new prospective clients of the organization that is Academic Institutions & Universities, Founders / chairperson / Principal and other key stakeholders to propose them our offerings.
- The person will be responsible for identifying, setting up and leading tie ups with institutions across the country & propose them solutions.
- The person will identify market opportunities, driving new business, and expanding on a base of existing customers.
- He /She will work closely with other stake holders to develop short- and long-term strategies to efficiently grow the total business.
- The person will be expected to spend approximately 60 - 70% of his time in the field working directly customers, and will maintain several of his/her own accounts with high-profile customers.
- Making new clients & Cold calling, lead Generation, negotiation,
- Given presentation of products, retention of existing clients, generate revenue.
- Must have excellent communication skills & presentable skills and must be able to provide measurable business outputs.
QUALIFICATIONS -
- Full Time MBA degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 6-8 years of strategic sales experience in a business-to business /Institutional sales environment.
- Experience of working with decision makers in the Education Management industry is a plus.
- PC proficiency/having adequate business knowledge of excel /power-point and CRM.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
- This position requires extensive travel (more than 50%), locally within the city and outside
