Purpose :

This role is to assist in developing & executing airtel's annual media strategy to drive success across our business. The role will be responsible for end to end strategy and implementation of campaigns across all media touchpoints and will also be the SPOC for one vertical - outdoors/print. This role will be our primary interface with our Media agency, media owners and circle marcoms.

Deliverables :

Media Planning :

- Based on agreed TA definition, develop R/F& GRP targets at campaign level

- Develop a campaign wise & Circle wise plan to cover each of the following media: TV, Print, Radio, outdoor, digital and any other media

- Ensure competitive benchmarking within & outside the category

- Be responsible for the entire process from briefing to development and execution of plan

- Be responsible for the entire process from briefing to strategy, to coordinating with circles for execution and monitoring of outdoor plans

Media Buying :

- Ensure that each campaign delivers the agreed annual CPRP targets

- Work with VP media to manage deals and ensure that targets are delivered

- Work with SCM to deliver contracts as per agreed targets

- Create rate benchmarks for outdoor and ensure delivery of the same

- Develop a relationship with media vendors especially in the outdoor space to ensure we get preferred access to media opportunities

Media Research :

- Identify research opportunities for outdoor to improve our understanding and improve effectiveness and efficiency

- Develop programs to identify best media solutions, on a circle by circle basis

Budget Management :

- Ensure maximum media efficiency for each campaign due to timeliness & value of purchase decisions

Media Execution :

- Ensure compliance with annual guidelines

- Liaise with brand and product team for most effective deployment and efficient solutions for each campaign

- Plan, execute, and monitor campaigns based on agreed annual guidelines

- Track performance of campaigns by circle based on agreed objectives
