The Role:

- We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Manager to join our People Operations team and play a crucial role in shaping our high-performance culture.

- As a champion of our company culture, you will lead initiatives across various aspects of the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, engagement, and management.

Responsibilities:

- Talent Acquisition: Manage the entire recruitment process to ensure top talent joins Airblack within specified timelines.

- This includes sourcing and screening candidates, conducting interviews, overseeing onboarding, and collaborating with hiring managers to develop effective recruitment strategies.

- People Engagement: Craft memorable events and foster inclusivity through innovative programs, creating a world-class employee experience.

- You'll build meaningful connections through personalized interactions and demonstrate empathetic understanding.

- People Management: Serve as the first point of contact for team members, ensuring a positive and supportive work environment.

- Conduct regular pulse checks and surveys to gain insights into employee satisfaction and NPS, driving continuous improvement across the organization.

- End-to-End Employee Experience: Oversee smooth transitions throughout the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.

- This includes enhancing retention strategies, managing performance reviews, facilitating offboarding processes, maintaining accurate records, supporting benefits administration, and implementing feedback mechanisms.

Qualifications:

- 5-6 years of experience in a generalist HR role, talent acquisition, or people operations.

- Prior experience in a mid-size startup is highly valued.

- MBA in Human Resources preferred; alternatively, a degree from a highly regarded undergraduate institution is considered.

- Proven track record of recruiting and onboarding a minimum of 100 employees.

- Comprehensive knowledge of HR operations and employee engagement practices.

- Experience in organizing mid-to-large-scale events and engagements is a plus.

- Adept at dealing with ambiguity, making informed decisions, and prioritizing the well-being of employees in every aspect of the role.

- Strong process orientation with the ability to design, implement, and manage workflows efficiently.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to articulate ideas effectively and act as a liaison between employees and management.
