This key member of our team will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment to contribute to discovery and clinical development. This member will be working on our platform AIRAVATTM to extract information from life sciences data including EEG, GEP, molecular essays, toxicity profiles, clinical reports, pathology reports, omics data, proteomics, and make inferences based on the extracted information. You will build machine learning models that lead to predictive diagnostics, personalized medicine, and improved healthcare. Responsibilities : - Build cutting edge models using NLP, machine learning and deep learning techniques for a variety of problems in life sciences. - Work with engineering teams to deploy models in production &amp; validate the models working with domain experts. - You should find it inspiring to work with a wide variety of colleagues (e.g., biology, chemistry, business, software development); understand their needs and then propose and build solutions Skills Required : - Expert level knowledge in natural language processing, information extraction and mining algorithms, tech stacks and experience with datasets - benchmark and real world. - Track record of leading, building and deploying production systems on large scale data. - Strong familiarity with Deep Learning methods for text analytics highly desired - RNN, LSTM, Attention models, word2vec and other embeddings, Keras/Tensorflow and PyTorch. - Expert level knowledge in machine learning algorithms (XGBoost, Linear and Logistic regression, SVM, Random Forest, Bayesian methods, Unsupervised learning . - Reinforcement learning, Online learning) is a must. - Expertise in statistical analysis. - Expertise in predictive modelling, quantitative data analysis. - Must be an expert programmer with proficiency in R, Python, C/C++ and Shell in Linux environment. - Ability to easily work with Domain experts and passion to make a difference in life sciences. - MS or PhD preferred in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics or related fields is required. - Strong communication skills and team player. - 5+ years- experience in industry. Preferred : - Expertise in computational biology, bioinformatics, and cancer genomics. - Experiences with both preclinical and clinical development are highly valued.
