Purpose of your role :

The role of the business analyst is integral to supporting the increased demand for new initiatives that require a technology solution.

- The role will cover a broad number of functions including conducting gap analysis and feasibility studies & also support the development team with defining scope, requirements and operating model for technology lead projects.

- The role will be integral in eliciting requirements and completing an impact assessment against business functions, processes and systems used across the region.

Key accountabilities :

- Primary interaction point with internal/eternal departments and technology to draw out requirements and define the future state processes and interactions with the implemented technologies

- Complete gap analysis and feasibility studies to determine whether an initiative has sufficient justification to initiate into a project

- Support the higher manager to define the scope for delivery within a project and accountable for the scope documenting and management of requirements

- Agreeing a clear prioritization of requirements with the business to understand the priorities and functions

- Supporting with the co-ordination of user acceptance testing and triaging of defects that are raised by the business to ensure a clear understanding of items that are defects and items that are feature that have been misunderstood by the user acceptance tester

- To be the true expert of a function, process or system that is being deployed as part of a project

Your skills and experience :

Relevant qualifications: Bachelors in Engineering (B.Tech/B.E) from IITs, NITs, & other premier institutes.

- 1 - 2 years experience with conventional banking or Accounting or Supply Chain Finance

- Strong soft skills enabling the business analyst to understand why the business teams are asking for requirements and to work with the business to prioritise the requirements and assess the impact on existing processes and functions

- Analytical character and the ability to use innovation to overcome difficult data requests or problems in processes

- Adaptable to working on numerous tasks and capable of working well under pressure with technology and business counterparts

- Use of UML or business process modelling would be an advantage

Salary Range : 4 - 8 LPA
