AIF Trader - AMC

Organisation: Among the largest asset management companies (AMC) of India

Department: Alternate Investment Fund (AIF)

Role: Trading (Managing own book; not dealing)

Location: Mumbai

Work Experience: The candidate is expected to provide minimum 18 months of track record of trading for evaluation. Their monthly P&L along with exposure range is needed to evaluate them.

Desired candidates:

From Prop firms or long-short AIFs who have worked on absolute return strategies possibly in any of the following areas:

Options trading - index or stocks

Low duration (intraday to few days) equities trading

Commodities/Fx trading

The incumbent should be doing discretionary trading, and not algorithm based trading.

The desired candidate would be one who's on the ground doing it (trading and making a P&L), and not just the one who knows/understands.

Education Background: Academically Excellent - from Good engineering or B-school.
