AGORA Wholesale - CTO/Co-Founder/VP - Engineering

About the Company :

AGORA Wholesale is conceptualized to be a B2B app based wholesale platform connecting and bringing manufacturer, wholesaler, trader, retailer of unbranded product online. We are trying to eliminate the inefficiencies that exist in this segment in product discovery and procurement. Focus will be both on raw material and finished product but in particular segments.

Founder,Kanad, is IIT Guwahati and IIM Bangalore graduate. While working in his last company, a fintech startup, recently funded by google, he met many micro enterprises/ SMBs and their input led to this idea of bringing them online to improve efficiency.

Requirements :

- We are looking for a CTO / VP Engineering (Co-founder status). Suitable candidate must be from A Grade engineering institutions with 4+ years of experience in product building, preferably in e-commerce Company.

- A startup enthusiast, a dreamer, tech architect and a hands-on developer, all rolled into one

- Willing to work in small teams, willing to work in a startup and can switch roles between a Full Stack Developer & VP/CTO

Technical Skills and Experience :

1. Solid technical background with understanding and hands-on experience in software/ product development and web technologies. Hands-on with coding at present as you may be required to code while guiding the team under you simultaneously.

2. Experience of having lead end to end development of at least one mobile based product that has been released and used by consumers

3. Experience in PHP, MySQL, NodeJS, AngularJS, MongoDB, Python, HTML5, CSS3 etc. Should have the knowledge of AWS and server architecture. Knowledge of how to design an efficient architecture for robust and scalable product.

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Establish the company's technical vision and lead all aspects of the company's technological development.

2. Be the Tech Face of the Company for the world (investors, users, others)

3. Build in-house tech teams

4. Prepare PRDs (Product Requirement Documents) and then drive it up to Product Launch

5. Lead engineering team and be responsible for building the first version of the product

6. Manage all aspects of its technology platform. Create a scalable tech ecosystem for large-scale impact. To work on developing the architect, a full stack web and mobile platform.

7. Owning a complete process of end to end development including coding, reviewing and testing operations of high performance mobile application in android & iOS and also web applications

CTC: 8-15 lacs per annum

Equity: Upto 5%
