AGM/Senior Manager - Industrial Design - Mfg/Auto

- To lead and develop the Industrial Design team and Studio facility.

Connect with all aspects of business - (Product Specialists / Engineering/Manufacturing/Purchasing/Test and Development Teams etc.)

- To interpret stakeholder requirements and translate into optimally designed products.

- Work closely with Senior Management in India and UK - to coordinate and communicate design direction.

- On-going collaborative interface with UK & US Design Studios - supporting Group Head of Industrial Design - to drive alignment and clear vision for Global product strategies.

- Focus on delivering perceived quality (exteriors and interiors) cost effectively.

- Work hand in hand with project teams throughout the product development cycle.

- Undertake research activities to investigate and promote new product ideas/concepts. To initiate and lead Advance Concept projects.

- Background experience of Industrial Design of Construction / Off Highway equipment - or Transportation design - Automotive, truck and bus etc.

- Experience in handling technically complex projects.

- Good Ideation skills, Should be able to generate bulk of ideas himself, also should be able to motivate the team and guide it towards the same.

Mandatory :

- Masters in Design in Product/ Transportation Design /PGDPD from NID - or Degree/Masters qualification from Leading Design School Worldwide.

- Should have handled at least two design programs as Lead designer / Design Manager- Including extensive involvement in engineering execution & supplier (outsourced) parts.

- Well versed with fast 3D digital visualization tools like Alias visualization, VRed, Showcase etc.

- Interest in emerging technologies and innovations is encouraged.

- Experience in interfacing and motivating cross-functional teams to unlock and exploit their full potential is essential.

- Good communication & presentation skills - verbal as well as written.

- Ability to effectively negotiate in the interests of delivering appealing product solutions
