Position Title: Senior Manager- Human Resources

Department : Human Resources

Location: Corporate

Reporting To: GM - HR

Objectives:

To provide leadership and direction for key HR areas, in particular Employee Engagement, Internal Communication, Campus Hiring and Talent Acquisition. This position is responsible for defining, supporting and delivering on the key strategic plans and initiatives for the business.

To bring operational excellence within the Talent Acquisition function

This role will ensure that is identifying, attracting and retaining the highest caliber of diverse talent, and using the most effective recruitment and selection processes, tools and technologies.

Also Provide leadership to develop and implement internal communications strategy.

Responsibilities:

- This position is responsible for all facets of Talent Acquisition activities. He or she will create the strategic plan for the function and ensure that the team has the capability to deliver on this plan.

It is expected that this position will employ innovative sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas to ensure is efficiently hiring the best possible talent for open vacancies as well as from a long-term pipeline building perspective.

Specific responsibilities include:

- Internal Employee Communication : Spearhead employee internal communications - Develop and implement internal communications strategy. Manage internal communications channels including newsletter, managing the intranet, content for HR information on company website, social media ( LinkedIn etc)

- Employee Engagement : Create a comprehensive and sustainable employee engagement strategy

- Work with senior leaders and Managers to develop strategies and demonstrable links between engagement and their strategic goals

- Work with vendors, CHRO, Regional Human Resource partners to design, deploy, and evaluate effective and efficient engagement surveys

- Build the Manager Capabilities to enable function/ Managers to analyze their own data and build action plans

- Support leaders to build the engagement plan at Org level.

- Talent Acquisition: Work with business/functional Heads for workforce planning and budgeting for the year and ensure that hiring is as per agreed timelines and budget.

- Work with leadership for Executive hiring.

- Build talent pipeline for senior level and highly specialized candidates for critical positions of the organization.

- Employ innovative sourcing strategies - around social media, building talent communities, next gen recruiting, build alumni networks etc to attract the talent and create employer brand.

- Design and drive the campus hiring program for the organization. Develop campus connect to attract the best talent.

- Collaborate with the regional HR team maintain consistent best practices and drive recruitment TAT.

- Provide templates, processes and tools for permanent and temporary staffing processes, including sourcing options and providers. Working out alternate sourcing options

- Set procedures for on boarding new employees including orientation tools and processes

- Build strategy to enhance the quality of hire by build the hiring Manager's capabilities. Device tools for Assessment of probable candidates, Refine and develop the Background verification process

- Implement ERP in Onboarding and recruitment .

Attributes and Characteristics:

- Well rounded business background and acumen with the ability to be a strategic partner

- Ability to work independently and make decisions that are consistent with the culture and business strategies of the company

- Willingness to change, flexible

- Able to work in an open, business focused environment and be able to communicate clearly and concisely

- Proactive, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives for a timely and successful conclusion

- Able to communicate at all levels. Seen as a champion of the business goals and employee development

- Resilient and able to deal with challenging situations in a positive manner

Education: Full time Post Graduate/MBA in Human Resources from Tier 1 B-school

Experience: Minimum 5-6 years of relevant experience

- Strong experience in leading a recruiting function in complex and fast moving environments.

- Experience in handling Scale, volume and niche Leadership hiring.

- A strong working knowledge of the major recruiting technologies and processes and an understanding of best practices in recruiting

- Experience in handling internal employee communication.
