The AGM HR will plan, direct, and coordinate and execute human resource management programmes in the plant to maximize the strategic use of human resources in line with the established systems and practices.
These activities include, but doesn’t limit to; manpower planning, recruitment, performance management, succession planning, people development, people participation, communication, budgeting, reporting, employee relations, regulatory compliances, and administration of welfare facilities etc.
Reporting: The position will report to the Head HR
Responsibilities:
- Ideate and develop and execute an appropriate people strategy in line with the Business Strategy of the company by aligning with organization vision, mission ,goals values and prepare the organization for the future growth
- Provides effective Human Resources advice and counsel to employees/managers to ensure effective resolution of the problems relating to business practices and core values.
- Accelerate the organization growth by planning proactively and creating pipeline as well as developing the niche capabilities which are not found outside the organization and to be able to implement creative and innovative methods needed to acquire the key talent and organization of potential key talent horizontally and vertically
- Ensure effective implementation of the performance management system; goal / objective setting, individual development plan, evaluation, calibration and reward management.
- Effective and efficient recruitment support; quality sourcing, selection and on boarding process.
- Providing leadership, direction and expertise for the entire spectrum of HR functions including:
- Employee relations, employee engagement and retention, performance management, organizational design and change Encourage employee adherence to the corporate values and processes. Undertake Employee Brand Building initiatives. Play a stellar role in the change management realm and prepare the organization to meet its extensive business growth and changes
- To be able to anticipate and solve the issues related to labour market proactively and manage the Industrial Relations for the organization
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Should have around 15-18 years of experience including at least 5 years as Head of HR in manufacturing based company.
- Work experience in progressive mid-sized Indian / MNC organisations having matrix structure
- Professional expertise in successfully devising and implementing strategic People initiatives
- As a person, you are open-minded and collaborative, have strong inter-personal skills to deal with different stakeholders sensitively, and with a dynamism to initiate new ideas and actions
