We have an opportunity for the role of AGM HR with one of our Hospitality clients based in Mumbai.

Candidates experience in Hospitality and Retail Food & Beverages Sector will be considered.

Role Summary:

-vAs the HR leader you will work closely with the VP/Sr.V.P- H.R for aligning the human resources function with the business strategy and objectives of the organisation.

- You will work closely with the leadership team and functional heads to provide HR guidance, support, and solutions that drive employee engagement, operational excellence and performance.

- Your role will involve strategic HR planning, talent management, performance management, compensation & benefits, employee engagement, learning & development, and HR policy implementation.

Job Description HR Head

- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the company's business objectives.

- Partner with leaders to understand their talent needs and develop effective workforce plans to attract, develop, and retain high-performing professionals.

- Drive the recruitment and selection process for various roles, ensuring the right talent is hired within agreed timelines.

- Collaborate with external learning and development partners to design and deliver training programs to enhance technical skills, knowledge, and capabilities.

- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on people management, performance improvement, and talent development initiatives.

- Conduct regular performance reviews, identify areas for improvement, and work with managers to implement performance improvement plans when necessary.

- Act as a trusted advisor to employees, addressing their HR-related concerns, and ensuring a positive employee experience.

- Support managers in managing employee relations issues, including grievances, and conflict resolution.

- Monitor and analyse HR metrics related to employee turnover, diversity, employee engagement, employee promoter score and propose data-driven solutions to enhance HR effectiveness.

- Stay updated with industry trends, employment legislation, and best practices to ensure compliance and provide strategic HR recommendations.

Education, Experience & Skills:

- At least 15 + years of proven experience as an HR Generalist with a focus on supporting various functions


- An MBA in human resources from an institute of repute

- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations in India.

- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand the business drivers and its impact on the organisation's bottom line.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships with leaders, managers, and employees at all levels.

- Demonstrated ability to influence, coach, and mentor managers to improve performance and employee engagement.

- Experience in talent acquisition, including sourcing, screening, and assessing candidates for varied roles.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret HR metrics and data to inform decision-making.

- Proactive, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
