The purpose of this job is for designing and implementation of all HR & IR processes / plans related to Plant through covering the people resource planning, people knowledge identification, competency development, people involvement process, communication process, Industrial relations, Employee engagement, reward & recognition process
The Company manufactures a wide range of fertilizers and markets around 4.5 million tons making it a leader in its addressable markets. It is the second largest manufacturer of Malathion and only the second manufacturer of Phenthoate.
Organisation has been structured functionally and each of the function is headed by a functional head. All functional heads are reporting to Unit Head.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- This position is heading HR department and reporting unit head. The incumbent is accountable for designing and implementation of all HR & IR processes / plans related to Plant through covering the people resource planning, people knowledge identification, competency development, people involvement process, communication process, Industrial relations, Employee engagement, reward & recognition process.
- The incumbents main challenge is to build / modify processes based on people performance indicators and people surveys so as to maintain motivated workplace
Key Accountability Statement :
- Identify and develop Human Resources knowledge and competencies through performance appraisals / courselling, competency mapping for both MS and NMS Employees.
- Ensure zero stoppage of the plant on account of Industrial Relations.
- Motivate, Encourage people participation through 5-S / suggestion scheme / SGAs / Committees, etc., through creating ownership at other senior management level and welfare activities.
- Adhere strictly to all statutory obligations pertaining to Labour Legislations and ensure no penalties are imposed.
- Streamline Contract Labour Management through identifying the gaps and initiating action
- Ensure HR/society surveys are done and based on feedback, necessary initiatives are taken up.
- Designing and implementation of all HR processes / plans related to Plant covering People resource planning, People knowledge identification development, People Involvement process, Communication process and rewads & recognition
- Incumbent is responsible for medical and S&F departments activities.
- Lead in carrying out the analysis to get meaningful interpretation for Managements action.
Key Decisions:
- Recruitments, Manpower planning, Contract Labor Management aspects, such as initiating and development of new process, practices , etc
Desired Candidate profile:
- Educational Qualification : MBA - HR/ MHRM/ ISW
- 15+ years similar experience with process / manufacturing industry
- Should be proficient in Telugu.
- Should have experience in both HR and IR
- Candidate should have completed minimum 2 LTS
- Candidate should have good Union handling experience
