Job Objective : To provide guidance and direction for effective, planning and implementation of HR policies and to make HR function a business partner.

- Oversees the implementation of Human Resources programs through Human Resources staff. Monitors administration to established standards and procedures. Identifies opportunities for improvement and resolves any discrepancies.

- Drive the performance management system, and employee management systems.

- Drive the organizational values and ethics and facilitate exits in case of unethical practices by employees.

- Leads the development of department goals, objectives, and systems.

- Defines all Human Resources training programs, and assigns the authority / responsibility of Human Resources and managers within those programs. Provides necessary education and materials to managers and employees including workshops, manuals, employee handbooks, and standardized reports.

- Provide direction to all employee engagement activities to build a motivated and engaged workforce.

- Engagement of all employees of the project which enhances productivity

- Interact with the employees to understand their issues and problems and facilitate their resolution.

- Monitor policy formulation in various areas and ensure regular updation and review of these policies to make them employee friendly and as per industry standards.

- Monitor compliance of statutory compliances by agencies and contractors and take measures in case of violation.

- Lead discussions with employee representatives /unions and bring about amicable settlement to ensure smooth execution of work and discipline at work place.

- Build internal organizational capability by conducting customized training programs for employees aligned with their development needs

- Build a pipeline of quality resources to facilitate resource availability as per requirement

- Support the line managers and operations head in creating a disciplined work environment and in handling all performance, placement and ethical issues.

- Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives

- Handling all stautory compliance related matters/issue. Ensure zero penalities during labor inspection.

- Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment, and recommend needed changes. See more occupations related to this task.
