Role Overview :
ROLE: AGM / GM Procurement
Company Name: A leading renewable energy company that generates power and currently operating in India.
Location: Delhi
Role & Responsibility :
- Negotiate and implement all purchases for the group ( ranging from capital goods, construction MEP , FF& E etc and all Operational items)
- Must act as a one point contact between Project consultants, vendors, owners and operating systems
- Responsible for procurement of equipment, Materials Management, Inventory Management, Vendor
- Evaluation & Development & Cost Estimations
- Responsible for equipment selection, approvals, negotiations and procurement of all CAPEX and operational items, logistics, licensing.
- Responsible for the budgeting of capital equipment requirements, Technical evaluations & comparisons, consolidation, imports, customs clearance and distribution.
- Implementing key contracting, procurement strategies and ensuring that strategies and plans aligned with project requirements.
- Developing vendors & sub contractors, arranging best offers for materials & sub contract jobs. Managing suppliers & service level agreements.
- Formulating guidelines for purchase & control processes.
- Formulate market intelligence mechanism to track the trends of rate movement.
Requirements:
- Should have handled large value contracts – not less than 20 crores or at least close to 20 crores
- Should have handled turnkey EPC contract award
- Knowledge of contract terms and conditions
- Involved in negotiations
