AGM / DGM - HR (Unit HR Head) - Pure Tamilian compulsory
This position reports to the Unit Head - Ennore Administratively and Head HR functionally.
Purpose:
The job holder will be responsible for the complete spectrum of Unit HR/IR/Administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Devise and drive growth orientated HR plans and practices for the unit
- Ensure positive IR/ER scenario at all times with transparent and business linked approach
- Drive Unit Administration activities in an effective manner within the agreed budgets
- Lead TQM/Business Excellence initiatives
- Ensure positive public relations and guide the CSR programs to ensure high impact.
Qualification:
- Post Graduation in HR/IR Management
Knowledge required for the position:
- Should be hands-on with contemporary HR practices covering Talent Acquisition, Talent Management/Development (L&D) and Employee Engagement etc.
- Should have handled Unions, Contract Workforce, PR, CSR, and General Administration.
- Should have led the long-term wage settlements
- Should possess strong knowledge of employment and industrial legislation.
Job experience:
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience, out of which 5 years as Head of the HR Department in a large size manufacturing unit.
- Should be able to speak/read/write Tamil - compulsory.
