AGM/DGM - Supply Shain Mgmt - Retail/FMCG

Job Description

The jobholder will be responsible for managing and driving the Distribution Center operations for dry DC and FV operations

- Ensuring warehouse operation accuracies, increasing DC productivities in all respects & reducing costs thus adding value to the DC operation.

- Manpower Planning, Efficiencies and Administration Management related to it

- Monitor & review adherence to contract management, billing and other commercial processes and procedures

- Handle Transport operations to deliver agreed service levels & achieve budgeted KRAs.

- This role will be centered around continuously improving customer service KPIs like

- The jobholder will be responsible for collecting, collating, verifying, analyzing and reporting the agreed DC & Transportation KPIs on a weekly/ monthly basis.

- The jobholder shall ensure the lowest network cost for all businesses by designing, reviewing and implementing appropriate transport networks for Primary & Secondary movements.

- He/she will set up, monitor, review and ensure that Transport KPIs are met by every operating unit, while adhering to statutory, safety & quality requirements.

Skills sets and Other Criteria

1. The jobholder must be possess min work experience of 8 yrs preferably in Retail SCM or FMCG, space ( essentially high SKU , multiple delivery point)

2. Good understanding of warehouse management systems & MIS ( systems and IT knowledge related to WMS applications ) ,

3. Must possess good understanding of Fruits & vegetable backend operations

4. He should be in his current profile and organization for not less than 6 months.

5. Must possess similar experience from min 3 reputed companies.

6. Not more than 35 year for zonal and 40 years for regional

7. Have demonstrated skills towards cost control & man management

8. Should be well versed with retail transport operations and vehicle economics

9. Very important to have team management experience in current and previous roles

10. Must have not had more than 3 jobs in last 5 years

11. Should not have been in last organization for more than 6 years

12. Regional preferred to be out of Bangalore and multi lingual is added advantage
