KEY RESPONSIBILITIES DELIVERABLES/OUTCOMES
- Policy Knowledge In-depth understanding of Power Sector Policies / Regulations / Orders issued by CERC / SERCs / CEA / MOP / MNRE / CTU etc.
- Regulatory Keeping updated with regulatory policy development in the RE sector in India like- net metering policy, open access policy & associated acts
- Advisor to Management Act as an advisor to the Management to make strategic business decisions based on regulatory attractiveness of various Indian States
- Documentation Create and manage compendium of various tariff orders, RE specific orders, and state energy policies etc. at pan-India level and especially for States in focus for the Business
- External Stakeholder Management Attend regulatory proceedings at SERC / CERC / APTEL / MOP / MNRE / CEA / CTU etc. as and when required.
- Organize meetings and discussions with key officials of the regulatory and executive agencies within focus States to seek clarity and identify the way forward for expanding the Business.
- Make representations/petitions/presentations before SERC / CERC / State Nodal Agencies on matters pertaining to our RE projects
- Working for and managing clients from Commercial & Industrial segment.
- Internal Stakeholder Management Assist the Business Development team and provide documentation support pertaining to important regulatory matters
NON-NEGOTIABLE TECHNICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- SME Extensive knowledge of applicable government regulations
- Regulations and Polices Ability to inform and educate managers and department heads on regulations and polices that require compliance
- C&I client base Candidate with an extensive experience of working with C&I focused companies and dealing with them.

EDUCTION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Educational Background - Preferably B.Tech/B.E-Electrical. MBA (Power) or Background in Electricity Laws would be an added advantage
Experience - 10-15 years, preferably in the Power Sector. Experience within RE Industry an added advantage.
