Desired Skills:

- Educational Qualification : B.Tech-Chemical Engineering / M.Sc. Chemistry/MBA /MPharm

- Experience Required : 15 yrs. of experience in any reputed Pharma/APIs/Intermediate

Job purpose:

- Sourcing of Raw Material from Domestic sources for the API Business

- Strategically plan the procurement and execute as per the business requirements

- Lead and guide the team of Purchase to meet Business goals

Duties and responsibilities:

- Overall responsible for purchase of APIs & RM

- Review of Rolling Plans received from PPIC and plan procurement in line with the same.

- Scheduling of Material movement to control inventory and meet requirement.

- Negotiate prices to achieve best in the industry for all APIs& RMs and Solvents.

- Strategically plan the procurement for optimum benefit to the organization.

- Lead and guide the team to ensure end to end procurement process and achieve desired results.

- Co-ordinate with Cross Functional team and plan procurement strategically.

- Implementation of Continuous improvement of process and system to strengthen purchase process.

- Review of Monthly MIS of the team members and present the consolidated MIS to the higher Authority.

- Ensure the stability data in place the product is commercialized.

- Ensuring proper arrangement of material for easy traceability during daily material handling activities, quarterly and statutory inventory audits.

- Super heading continuous fact based analysis for getting best quality service at best value.

- Ensure materials are procured from qualified vendors

- Ensure solvents are stored in a safe manner as per the material compatibility following MSDS.

- Strong communication skill and proven leadership skill.

- Strong analytical and presentation skill.

- Expertise in MS Office, ERP & SAP MM.

- Awareness of pharma regulatory markets and standard requirements
