AGM/DGM (HR) - Mumbai
We have an urgent opening with DTH industry for the position of (AGM / DGM) HR for Mumbai location. They are looking a candidate who have good exposure in Internal Communication, Talent Acquisition and Campus Management
A brief JD of the position is given below :
Objectives :
- To provide leadership and direction for key HR areas, In particular, Internal Communication, Campus Hiring and Talent Acquisition. This position is responsible for defining, supporting and delivering on the key strategic plans and initiatives for the business.
Specific responsibilities include :
Internal Employee Communication :
- Spearhead employee internal communications
- Develop and implement internal communications strategy Manage internal communications channels including newsletter, managing the intranet, content for HR information on company website, social media ( LinkedIn etc)
Talent Acquisition :
- This position is responsible for all facets of Talent Acquisition activities. He or she will create the strategic plan for the function and ensure that the team has the capability to deliver on this plan.
- It is expected that this position will employ innovative sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas to ensure company is efficiently hiring the best possible talent for open vacancies as well as from a long-term pipeline building perspective.
- Work with business/functional Heads for workforce planning and budgeting for the year and ensure that hiring is as per agreed timelines and budget.
- Work with leadership for Executive hiring.
- Build talent pipeline for senior level and highly specialized candidates for critical positions of the organization.
- Employ innovative sourcing strategies - around social media, building talent communities, next gen recruiting, build alumni networks etc to attract the talent and create employer brand.
- Design and drive the campus hiring program for the organization. Develop campus connect to attract the best talent.
- Collaborate with the regional HR team maintain consistent best practices and drive recruitment TAT.
- Provide templates, processes and tools for permanent and temporary staffing processes, including sourcing options and providers. Working out alternate sourcing options
- Set procedures for on boarding new employees including orientation tools and processes
- Build strategy to enhance the quality of hire by build the hiring Manager's capabilities.
- Device tools for Assessment of probable candidates, Refine and develop the Background verification process
- Implement ERP in On boarding and recruitment.
Education : Full time Post Graduate/MBA in Human Resources from Tier 1 B-school
Experience :
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
- Strong experience in leading a recruiting function in complex and fast moving environments.
- Experience in handling Scale, volume and niche Leadership hiring.
- A strong working knowledge of the major recruiting technologies and processes and an understanding of best practices in recruiting
- Experience in handling internal employee communication.
