Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and Strategizing: Effective implementation of the industrial relations plan that prioritizes actions based on business needs. Understand and translate growth plans into workforce requirements and build case for projected numbers in the workforce planning session. Analyze demand and surplus for the workforce in the plants
- Employee Relations: The Lead HR & IR is responsible for overseeing the Human Resources & Industrial Relations of the Plant. This role involves maintaining harmonious relationships between management and employees, handle grievances, and resolve disputes.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Recruitment: Oversee hiring processes (Onroll and contractual staff), including job postings, interviews, and onboarding. Control Attrition at all levels.
- Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Performance Management: Conduct performance evaluations and manage compensation programs. Develop and monitor KPIs to ensure alignment with plant goals. Maintain and update organisation structure, job descriptions and skill/ competency dictionaries for operations of factories
- Safety and Health: Ensure workplace safety and manage health programs.
- HR MIS: Manage HR budgets/ timely increment cycle and HR MIS and data analytics.
- Policies: Coordinate and enforce HR/ IR policies, processes, systems and reporting activities in consultation with the various stakeholders
- Change: Support and drive Culture/ Technological change initiatives in factories and at the organisation level taking direction from the business leadership.
