AGM/DGM/GM - Financial and Commercial Risk

Key Responsibilities :

- Implementation and monitoring of Financial Risk Management framework across the Company using qualitative and quantitative tools.

- Implementation of Internal Control and Enterprise Risk Management Framework to comply with the requirements of the Company Act.

- Drafting the Risk Management Policy including the detailed Standard Operating Procedures for Trading / Treasury related operations for implementation in the Business Unit.

- Practical market risk management experience in areas of foreign exchange, interest rate, commodities related matters. Candidates with other financial risk management experience eg credit will be added advantage

- Monitoring these exposures against defined set of risk management limits for compliance and reviewing non-compliance cases

- Reviewing the commercial risk and reporting them to Group for all commercial documents including PPA and FSA

- Working with the local Commercial team to identify and assess financial risks and the appropriate means of mitigating these risks for the Company

- Actively involved in facilitating the risk management process.

Key Requirements :

- Degree / Post Graduate qualification in Business / Accountancy / Commercial with strong risk management experience. Candidates with CFA, CPA, FRM and other related qualifications will be viewed favorably.

- Practical experience in financial instruments / international financial markets. Familiarity of risk financial tools and communicating these tools to senior management and the various departments heads.

- Practical Power industry knowledge including experience with PPA and FSA in India

- Have strong experience working with other teams such as Commercial, Finance, Trading and Operation teams in managing risk for the company
