Roles & Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this role is to lead and manage the financial responsibilities of the Group operating companies within the Tricity. The Regional Head-Business Finance has end to end responsibility for driving financial performance & maximizing return on investment. The role, through active partnering with the Business leaders and other key stakeholders will focus on streamlining and sustaining operational efficiencies. The key aspects of the role will include effective project management, cost management, cashflow management and ensuring RERA compliances.
- Financial Processes Management: including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring that the expenses are in line with the approved budgets so as to maximize financial performance and cashflows.
- RERA Compliance: Ensuring RERA compliances are duly obtained for all projects as per the RERA compliance requirements and ensure zero exceptions.
- Projects Control & Accounting: Responsibility for putting in place robust financial management processes for existing and new projects by supporting launch teams, building business case, approvals related to right party transactions, accounting and MIS reports, Audits for projects as per processes laid down by corporate team.
- Project Payables: End to end management of project payables process and ensuring that there are minimal exceptions to the laid down processes.
- Purchase to pay process: Streamlining processes and ensuring process adherence and compliance across all operating units within the region
- Order to Cash: Partner closely with the AR team, driving best practices to maximize performance.
- Information Technology: Partnering with the corporate teams for automating processes for O2C and P2P through close partnering with IT team within Finance
- Team Leadership Building and sustaining a performance culture across the team
Position Requirements
This is a full-time role where the candidate is expected to have:
- Min 10-15 years of relevant experience
- Experience in real estate, construction & Infrastructure preferred but not mandatory
- Proficient in stakeholder management
- Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders at all levels (National and International)
- Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to think strategically, see the big picture, recognize the impact of decisions, and pay attention to detail
- Display a high level of professionalism and understand the importance of maintaining the confidentiality
