AGM/DGM Corporate Consolidation - CA - Automobile / Manufacturing - Chennai
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for complete financial reporting of its Group companies on quarterly as well as annual basis which include around 20 subsidiaries, joint venture and associates.
- Ensure timely completion of statutory audit and Interface with external auditors for both quarterly limited review and annual audit across AL and its group entities.
- Responsible for consolidating AL Group financials into Hinduja Group Companies.
- Responsible for compliance of the company for all pertinent regulations including Accounting Standards (IND AS, IFRS ) and release accounting policies and guidelines from time to time with regard to changes in Companies Act, SEBI, Direct tax and GST related amendments having accounting and reporting implications.
- Responsible for review and tracking of Related Party transactions and reporting under Companies Act and SEBI - testing for arm's length , Track approved Vs actual utilization, Disclosures, all of which have to be approved by the Audit Committee.
- Responsible for carrying out equity and preference share valuation for impairment testing and review of gamut of accounting GAAP complainces of M & A, reorganization, and structuring.
- Review and ensure accuracy of all Audit committee related agenda papers involving financials, RPT disclosures, quarterly publication to stock exchange annual report, XBRL filing with MCA etc.
- Review of Internal Financial controls (IFC), SOP within finance and ensure addressal of process and IT issues including access controls / GRC and other accounting aspects.
- Responsible for accounting, compliance, and Financial Reporting of one of its subsidiaries
- Drive automation of process in financial reporting and consolidation.
Candidate Profile:
Qualifications: Chartered Accountant
Experience:
- ~10-15 years in Corporate Accounting, Consolidation, preferably in a large manufacturing or related industry. Listed company experience would be preferable.
- Exposure to Accounting Standards, Financial Reporting and Group consolidation processes including recent changes in Companies Act, SEBI LODR etc.
- Experience in SAP ERP work environment is essential.
- Knowledge of business and tax processes
- Exposure to valuation of equity and preference shares for impairment testing.
- Experience in Big 4 Audit firms is desirable
Essential Skills:
- Communication skills with the regions, other central functions and group companies
- Proficiency in basic excel and MS Office applications
- Should possess good communication & presentation skills
