AGM - Accounts - Digital Financial Services

Principal Role and Responsibilities:

General Accounts :

- Accurate accounting of all income & expenses

- To ensure the correctness & timely payments to employees

- Review and approve all expense statements after ensuring that they are raised in accordance with company policies and guidelines.

- To ensure that all Bills are processed on timely basis with accuracy and payments are released well within the due dates.

- Accurate valuation of Inventory and contribution in avoiding inventory losses on account of obsolesce, over age & left out inventory, etc.

- Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.

Tax and Financial Compliance:

- Ensure compliance of Taxation rules & regulations including filing of timely returns & deductions of TDS, Service tax and other relevant tax

- Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company

- Engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement.

- Interpret the company's financial results to management and recommend improvement activities.

- Create additional analyses and reports as requested by management.

Audit :

- Work with internal and external auditors for periodic audit of the company accounts in accurate and timely manner.

- Be responsible for any audit gaps defined by the auditor

Qualities Desired For the Role:

- Professional accounting qualification and/or and Master degree in Accounting.

- CA/ CPA qualification.
