Aglisium - Senior Project Manager - Life Sciences Domain

Job Summary:

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing complex projects within the life sciences domain. This role requires a highly organized and experienced individual with a strong understanding of project management methodologies, life sciences industry practices, and stakeholder management. The Senior Project Manager will oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Project Scope, Budget, and Time Management:

- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial accountability.

- Create and maintain project schedules, identifying critical paths and managing timelines.

Project Planning and Implementation:

- Lead the planning, execution, and implementation of projects, adhering to established project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

- Develop detailed project plans, including tasks, resource allocation, dependencies, and milestones.

Team Leadership and Development:

- Assemble and manage project teams, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and monitoring performance.

- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development.

- Manage the technical and functional development, performance, and/or termination of project staff during the project lifecycle.

Technical and Functional Contribution:

- Participate in functional discussions and contribute to project solutions.

- Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.

Stakeholder Communication and Reporting:

- Manage relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and external vendors.

- Provide regular project status updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders.

- Escalate issues and risks to management in a timely and effective manner.

Risk Management:

- Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks and issues.

- Develop and implement risk response strategies to minimize project disruptions.

Documentation and Closure:

- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and deliverables.

- Work with the client to obtain formal sign-off on project completion.

- Manage project closure activities, including resource release, vendor contract closure, invoice payment, and project file archiving.

Salesforce (Good to Have):

- Utilize Salesforce for project management, tracking, and reporting (if applicable).

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project information in Salesforce.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Business, Engineering).

- Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field is highly preferred.

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is strongly preferred.

- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience managing complex projects, with a focus on the life

sciences industry.

- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality

standards.

- In-depth knowledge of the life sciences industry, including relevant regulations, trends, and challenges.

- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.

- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet).

- Experience with Salesforce is a plus.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
