Job Description
They are looking to augment with Agile/DevOps engineering coaches who can help their teams with the modern engineering practices. The stem is DevOps and the horizontal is along XP engineering practices, clean code, emergent design & nimble architecture.
- Be a senior Java developer on an agile team who has hands on experience in extreme programming (XP) practices.
- Recently hands on & technically up to date (for example - blogs, participates in conferences, community contribution, article publication etc)
- Proven experience mentoring agile teams on technical practices not exclusive to conducting workshops for teams.
- Has platform experience in one for more of these - Java, .NET, Mainframe, PEGA
- Generally having software development experience between 8 to 15 years.
- Experience with cloud technologies would be a plus - not mandatory.
- Open to 10 to 20% travel between the Mumbai/Hyderabad/Bangalore hubs.
Additional
- Someone currently playing a full stack lead developer role in an agile team or mentoring other agile teams may be more appropriate. Someone with 7 to 17 years of experience of which 3 to 4 years in agile.
- The role is hands on and mentors lead developers on agile teams on XP practices.
- Someone who, Practices TDD/ATDD / Pair programming and other Test automation related practices regularly
Or Has implemented DevOps practices in past (CI, Automated CI, Automated Deployment, Continuous Deployment)
- Or Has regularly using Design practices in past and has strong background in implementing/coaching them in an agile environment
- Good communication skills.
