AGI glaspac - Manager - Sustainability

Position : Manager-Sustainability

- This positions handles the sustainability projects at Agi glaspac, Hyderabad

- The position reports to the President & CEO.

Education Qualification - Should be a 1st class graduate in Engineering from a reputed Insitute.

Experience - 8-10 years experience in handling Sustainability projects in a Manufacturing setup.

Roles & responsibilities :

1. Manage the sustainability programs for the Packaging Division

2. Develop Sustainability strategies to ensure that the business practices, products and services are environment friendly and compliant with government rules and regulations

3. Collaborate with department heads to implement processes and technologies to reduce the organisations Carbon footprint

4. Utilizing renewable energy resources

5. Monitoring areas like natural resource usage and recycling,

6. Optimize use of fuels, eliminate waste.

7. Educating people on the importance of sustainability initiatives

8. Promote and explain the company's sustainability philosophy to internal and external stakeholders.

9. Well worse with ESG elements, BRSR reporting, ECOVADIS rating, EPR etc.

10. Liaise with marketing for furnishing / reporting of sustainability data as per customer requirements.

Capability and Competencies required :

- Should have strong knowledge of CDP Standards & Reporting

- Should have strong knowledge of CHG Standards & Reporting

- Strong content writing skills

- Effective written and verbal communications skills.
