Agency Network Head - Logistics & Supply Chain Industry

We are hiring AGENCY NETWORK HEAD for the Company specialized into - Air and ocean freight forwarding, Contract logistics, Transportation, Customs clearance.

Location - Mumbai/Chennai - Candidate Interested for other location can apply.

Industry - Logistics & Supply chain

Continuously expand on existing network to seek new markets (geographies), products and agents to constantly improve upon the divisions revenues and profitability.

- To maintain existing network of 200+ agents

- Build rapport with all agents over time

- Handle L2 escalations

- Ensure no complaints reach any of our networks as a dispute

- Deep Sell to existing agents

- Gather Market info on their geographies (freight rates, preferred liners, advance info of roll overs / port congestion etc would be a bonus) and feed it back to Sales for their information

- To Enhance existing Network and grow it constantly

- Agency business by nature is very dynamic, and constantly adding new (profitable) agents is a tool by which revenues and profit margins can also grow.

- Candidate must constantly do research on the new and emerging networks, seek out referrals from existing agents to new agents and year on year improve the network reach

- Once a new agent is secured, candidate has to handhold their team to ensure the agent is onboarded, agreement is secured and business activities commence before handing over to their team
