The key job responsibilities include the following:

- Directing and performing the gathering, standardization, and analysis of voluminous transactional electronic data (e.g., banking records, general ledgers, broker-dealer records, sales and inventory data, etc.) The candidate should have market-building capabilities and experience with advanced and predictive analytics.

AFT-AD Managers can expect to do some or all of the following:

- Create, manage, and utilize high performance relational databases (SQL Server 2008, Oracle 10g, Microsoft Access, OLAP and other proprietary software).

- Query and mine large data sets to discover transaction patterns, examine financial data and filter for targeted information - using traditional as well as predictive/advanced analytic methodologies.

- Participate in the design and development of user-defined application modules (standard and web-based), perform data quality control, develop database reports and user interfaces, and normalize relational data.

- Supervise, lead, and train junior associates in the aforementioned activities.

- Provide input with respect to practice technology initiatives and investments.

- Contribute to resource requirement planning, project workflow and budget preparation, and facilitate billing and collection processes.

- Begin to develop and maintain client relationships.

Network and negotiate to identify and sell potential new services or expand existing engagements.

Prepare and present complex written and verbal materials (reports, findings and presentations).

The key skills required:

- Microsoft SQL Server (*)

- Microsoft C#, Visual Basic .Net, VB, or VBA

- Microsoft ASP .Net

- HTML

- JavaScript and the JQuery framework

- CSS and user interface design

- System administration

Preference will be given to candidates with design skills and user interface development experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
